On-Farm Composting Webinar
Farmers can play an integral role in a healthy, local environment, and this year Maryland passed legislation enabling farmers to accept more food scraps into their existing foot print for manure composting. Keith Ohlinger, a Central Maryland farmer, joined us to speak about how farmers can use food scraps to create compost, and what this means for the environment.

Clean Water Virginia Legislative Priorities 2023
Clean Water Action is working with our allies to successfully help protect the Chesapeake Bay, open space, farmland, and historic sites before state senate and house elections in the fall. In addition to focusing on ensuring green infrastructure funding and reducing plastic pollution, here are some of the organization’s top priorities: Stormwater Local Assistance Fund (SLAF), Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), and Reducing Plastic Pollution.

The Minnesota Legislature has been in session since January 6th, without many final actions to show for the time spent.
