As Water Programs Director, Jennifer spearheads the organization’s national water policy work, including leading our current priority campaign to strengthen Clean Water Act protections for streams, wetlands and other waters.  Jennifer has worked on a variety of water policy and watershed management issues for over a decade, in both nonprofit and government sectors. She has BS in Environmental Science from Humboldt State University and a MS in Environmental Policy from Bard College. Jennifer worked with Clean Water from 2011 until 2024 and is currently writing her first novel.

Letter to Congress: Support The Environmental Justice For All Act

The Environmental Justice for All Act (H.R. 2021), introduced by Representative Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) and Representative Donald McEachin, (D-VA) is a long overdue package of reforms that will help address the history of environmental injustice that has led to undue burdens of pollution on people of color and low-income communities. Clean Water Action has submitted the following letter to the U.S. House Natural Resources Committee in support of this legislation.

While we commend EPA’s efforts, we are seriously concerned that the agency is not moving quickly enough to address PFAS wastewater discharges from other point source categories that are known or suspected of using these toxic “forever chemicals.”
