Minnesota Representative Jeff Brand to Hold Town Hall Meeting Addressing PFAS Crisis
Representative Jeff Brand is partnering with Clean Water Action and the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy to hold a joint town hall meeting at the St Peter Community Center on Saturday, March 18th to discuss the urgent crisis perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are presenting across Minnesota.

Health, disability and environmental groups are questioning Patterson Dental’s continued production, distribution, and sales of dental amalgam. Composed of 50% mercury, a well-known neurotoxicant, amalgam is a health risk for children and other vulnerable populations, and results in a significant release of mercury pollution.
