This morning, the Baltimore City Council is holding a hearing on Council Bill 25-0036, legislation to create a Baltimore City Payment in Lieu of Taxes Task Force. As Baltimore considers next year's budget and grapples with significant funding shortfalls, we need large institutions in the City to pay their fair share. Testimony Against Michigan HR 91 and the Proposed Line 5 Tunnel

The proposed Line 5 tunnel would keep the dangerous pipeline open for an expected additional decade, while the tunnel itself is an immensely risky venture with scientists raising red flags. 2022 Maryland Endorsements

Clean Water Action has endorsed candidates in legislative races before the primary this year. More endorsements will be rolled for the general election. For the primary, Clean Water Actions endorsed candidates who have championed our priority issues as sponsors, in committee, or on the Floor. For the Senate, Clean Water Action decided to only endorse senators who championed our priority issues who also voted to remove trash incinerator subsidies when given the opportunity on the Senate Floor in 2021.
