Next week on Wednesday, the Baltimore City Council will be holding a public hearing on sewer backups into homes and the City's existing programs for helping households that have sewer backups. Blue Water Baltimore and Clean Water Action released a new report on Wednesday calling on the Department of Public Works (DPW) to expand and improve Baltimore City’s two sewage backup assistance programs: the Expedited Reimbursement Program and the Sewage Onsite Support program.
