I know that my work is helpful and impactful – many people have told me that they have changed and are influenced to do things differently because they see my work at Clean Water Action. I don't do it for them but it's good that it spreads. We here at Clean Water Action are sharing some great information with folks and giving a whole lot of people opportunity to do good things and create change. Also, I love hearing about the victories, and getting to share them with other people. And to know that before this work was being done lakes and rivers were on fire, literally, makes it even more worthwhile."

Reducing Plastic Waste and COVID-19
A switch back to single-use plastics does nothing to stop COVID-19, but it does undermine recent efforts to reduce our reliance on a material that pollutes our world in every stage of its life: manufacture, disposal, and eventual breakdown in our oceans.

I’m focused on groundwater; how we use it – and use too much; how we protect it from pollution – or don’t; and how we can ensure that it’s available when we need it. And even on a day when we’re not focused on a pandemic, groundwater can be easy to forgot about -- it's our invisible resource.
