Tessa Krajewski

Tessa began working for Clean Water Action as the Office Manager of the Ann Arbor office in November of 2024. She has always had a passion for environmental justice and conservation, which was solidified by her work as a farm hand on numerous small-scale organic farms in southeastern Michigan. Her history as an environmental canvasser for Michigan League of Conservation Voters and her interest in wildlife conservation also informs her work.

Before working at Clean Water Action, Tessa earned a Bachelor of Arts with concentrations in Art & Design and Polish Language Studies from the University

Ian Louda

Ian is a passionate environmental advocate who joined Clean Water as a Field Canvasser in the summer of 2016. He went on to direct the Philadelphia Field Canvass for seven years from 2018-2024 and served as the organization’s Lead Network Canvass Director beginning in 2022.

Ian now works in a multifaceted role. As Legislative Coordinator, he conducts outreach to elected officials in Southeastern PA and assists with Clean Water Action endorsements in state and local races. Maria Jensen

Maria Jensen started her career in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) in the electronic waste recycling industry, after receiving a Masters in Global Health from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and publishing research related to mercury contamination from electronic waste in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.

Tonyehn Verkitus

Scranton, PA

Tonyehn Verkitus is the Executive Director of Physicians for Social Responsibility Pennsylvania, the Northeast Counties Medical Societies and host of Keystone Edition Health on WVIA TV. Her work in the nonprofit world has mostly centered on health and food though she also spent many years training organizations and communities on fundraising and telling their mission-based stories.
