Environmental Justice Program Coordinator | Hybrid in Philadelphia, PA

Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund are seeking a full-time Environmental Justice Program Coordinator in Philadelphia and southeast Pennsylvania to support programs addressing environmental inequities and improving health in underserved communities. The coordinator will organize workshops, youth engagement, environmental education, and local projects on food access, green space, pollution, and climate resilience, while managing logistics, tracking outcomes, and coordinating partnerships. This role also contributes to broader campaigns advancing environmental justice and clean water and air. Candidates should be passionate about community health and environmental justice, with experience in communities of color and lower-income areas.

Madison joined Clean Water Action in January of 2022. Before their time at CWA, Madison earned a B.S. in Biological Engineering from the University of Arkansas and a M.S. in Environmental Policy and Environmental Education at the University of Michigan. Madison grew up in Oklahoma and credits their love of the outdoors to their many hours floating the Illinois River and backpacking in the Ozark Mountains.
