RI ‘Bottle Bill’ Advocates to Rally at the State House
A broad coalition of leaders from the Rhode Island environmental community, joined by their legislative allies, will be gathering at the State House library to officially kick off the campaign to pass the RI “bottle bill.”

New Coalition Calls on Governor McKee to Fight Plastic Pollution with a Bottle Bill
A new coalition of state environmental organizations, the Rhode Island Zero Waste Coalition, sent a joint letter to Governor Dan McKee yesterday calling on him to support a container deposit law, or “bottle bill,” to fight plastic pollution and increase recycling in Rhode Island. The letter is in response to the governor’s State of the State remarks regarding his commitment to cleaning up litter.

ReThink Disposable Goes National!
Clean Water Fund’s ReThink Disposable program has been awarded a NOAA Marine Debris Pollution Prevention Grant to launch ReThink Disposable in 6 of our Clean Water Action offices along the East Coast and the Great Lakes.
