Sam Lamb
Sam began working at Clean Water Action in 2022 as a Community Organizer, then transitioned through Trainer, Field Manager, and now Providence Field Canvass Director beginning in 2023. She uses her experience in the field canvass to inspire people to get involved in the environmental movement and reminds folks of their power as educated voters and consumers.

I have been working in the environmental and public health non-profit sector for 10 years. My passion is environmental issues and justice. I grew up living on the Connecticut coast of Long Island Sound watching my father fish in those waters. As I grew to understand environmental degradation from pollution, the health impacts, and the effects of climate change, I knew that my life's work would be protecting our environment.

Avonna received her bachelor’s degree in political science and history from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and her master’s degree in political management and advocacy from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. She currently serves her community as a member of the Fridley School Board and as a member of the Fridley Environmental Quality and Energy Commission.

Kyle started working for Clean Water Action in 2013, after graduating from Gustavus Adolphus College with a bachelor's degree in political science. He wrote his thesis on renewable energy policy development and implementation, and Clean Water Action was conveniently working to strengthen the renewable energy standard in Minnesota at that time, making a perfect fit for Kyle and the organization
