Saving a Bedrock Pennsylvania Environmental Law
Clean Water Action and its supporters successfully blocked a proposed DEP rule that would have weakened Pennsylvania’s Clean Streams Law by allowing polluters greater discretion in reporting spills. The rule risked delaying responses to pollution and reducing transparency. Its withdrawal marks a major victory for clean water protections, public health, and community advocacy.
Celebrating Clean Water Administrative Professionals
Since I was a child, I have always looked forward to Secretaries' Day. This was the day that I would make Ms. Johnson, our school secretary, a card and gift her with special candy to thank her for always being so nice to me on my first day of school and every day after that. She was committed and I felt a strong sense of obligation to honor her.
