Baltimore City’s Clean Water Candidates: Primary Endorsements
The next term of Baltimore city government will be critical for environmental justice in Baltimore. The next four years will be pivotal for the infrastructure investments we need for cleaner water, cleaner air, and healthier communities in the city. 2024 Clean Water Action Maryland Legislative Recap
Today is the last day of Maryland’s 2024 legislative session. As Delegates and Senators work until midnight to wrap up their business, our Clean Water priorities have all been resolved. Governor Moore and the leadership of the House and Senate failed to act on climate change and environmental justice this year. Expanding Baltimore City's Sewage Backup Assistance Programs
Next week on Wednesday, the Baltimore City Council will be holding a public hearing on sewer backups into homes and the City's existing programs for helping households that have sewer backups. Release: New Report Calls for Expansion of Baltimore City's Sewage Backup Assistance Programs
Blue Water Baltimore and Clean Water Action released a new report on Wednesday calling on the Department of Public Works (DPW) to expand and improve Baltimore City’s two sewage backup assistance programs: the Expedited Reimbursement Program and the Sewage Onsite Support program.
