Curbside Composting in Key City
On Thursday, April 7, the Frederick City Mayor and Board of Aldermen are considering a pilot program for curbside compost! Under this contract, Key City Compost - which is in process of expanding its compost site just north of Frederick City - would partner with the city to pick up and compost food scraps from 800+ homes in two areas of the city, in the the Golden Mile corridor and downtown. Today is the last day to request an absentee ballot if you have not yet received your ballot in the mail.
If you have received your ballot, just a reminder that it needs to sent June 2nd.
There are official ballot drop off boxes in each county and Baltimore City if you would rather deliver your ballot. If you prefer to vote in person, there are in person voting locations that will be open on Tuesday, June 2nd from 7 AM to 8 PM.
