Connecticut Celebrates Clean Water Action's 50th Anniversary
On July 20th, members of the Clean Water Action community joined together to celebrate the organization’s 50th anniversary. This event, held virtually, had an array of guest speakers reflecting on Clean Water Action’s past victories, memories, and what is to come for the organization’s future. Joining us from Japan, Roger Smith, former Connecticut State Director, was one of the event’s most anticipated guests. Big Wins to Stop "Forever Chemicals"
We’re celebrating some big wins with our Mind the Store campaign work this fall! This campaign focuses on targeting major retailers and urging them to work with their suppliers to shift away from toxic chemicals in products, including the “forever chemicals” known as PFAS or per and polyfluoroalkyl substances.
