PFC Contamination in Minnesota
Clean Water Action supported the passage of new drinking water guidance levels for PFCs and the establishment of the state’s biomonitoring program. We advocated for strong landfill clean up plans and conducted public education and outreach on this ever evolving situation.
South Jersey Gas Pipeline
South Jersey Gas has submitted a proposal to put a natural gas pipeline through a portion of the Pinelands Forest Management Area. The proposal would place 22 miles of 24-inch pipeline through Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland Counties in order to provide the B.L. England Plant located in Beesley's Point, Cape May County with natural gas. Jennifer Schlicht
Jennifer began her work with Clean Water Action as a canvasser in our Ann Arbor, Michigan office. After working as a field and office manager, she began working on our National Communications team in 2020 and moved to her current role of Michigan Communications Manager in 2025. Jennifer also volunteers in the local community for voting access and rights, as a Legal Observer, an English conversation tutor and welcoming volunteer for refugee families, and with environmental conservation and education projects as a Michigan Conservation Steward and Master Rain Gardener. A born and raised
