“In March of 2020, Clean Water Action applauded EGLE’s proposal to reject Macomb County’s request to build an open sewage lagoon in public waters adjacent to the Chapaton Retention Treatment Basin. Baltimore Oil Trains Week of Action
Wednesday, July 6th marked the third anniversary of the deadly oil train explosion in Lac-Mégantic, when 47 people lost their lives in the fires caused by train cars carrying crude oil derailing and breaching in the center of their town.
