There are times in environmental battles when communities can start to feel this way. However, community organizing can play a critical role in bringing people together to rise up and make a difference. That's why I'm proud to be a community organizer with Clean Water Action. Polls show people think drinking water matters. But when it comes to our activities like, growing food, building cities and towns, and producing energy, we don’t implement our health and environmental laws or control the impacts of our activities to truly prevent threats to our drinking water. Things would look a lot different if we did. “Fracking” shouldn’t be exempt from the Safe Drinking Water Act, but
