PROVIDENCE, RI - Clean Water Action announced today their endorsement of Gabe Amo in the special election for Rhode Island's 1st Congressional district.
“Rhode Island’s 1st Congressional District has long been represented by a climate champion, and Gabe Amo will continue to fight for Rhode Island’s environment as our next Representative,” said Jed Thorp, Clean Water Action Rhode Island’s State Director. “Gabe has worked within the Biden administration to implement the Inflation Reduction Act, a massive investment in the fight against climate change. He also understands the importance of a just transition to a clean energy future that centers workers and frontline communities.”
Clean Water Action will be communicating this endorsement to their thousands of members across the First District. The special election will be held on November 7th. Early voting begins October 18th.
