National Communications Director

LaTrice V. Harrison serves as National Communications Director for Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund. Known by her peers as "The Word Wizard," LaTrice brings more than 25 years of experience to the organization. 

With a proven track record of developing solid communication and marketing strategies that exceed expectations, fund development expertise, and ability to masterfully tell a story, LaTrice has gained the attention of dignitaries on a local and national level for her work. She has also received numerous awards including the Woman of Excellence Award in Michigan, the Spirit of Detroit award from the Detroit City Council, and was nominated for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Hometown Hero Award.

Prior to joining Clean Water,  LaTrice served as VP of Marketing and Development in Detroit, where she oversaw communication agency wide for a non-profit with more than 600 employees. In this role, she also led efforts to launch a successful branding campaign and was was instrumental in developing a communications and marketing plan for the nationally known "Transition to Success" model that helps families and individuals transition out of poverty.

LaTrice believes in the clean water mission and vision and is looking forward to utilizing her skills engage new supporters to join our cause.  She is also a public speaker, skilled graphic designer, and an internationally recognized Christian children’s book author.
