We all understand the importance of practicing self care in our daily lives - and it feels even better when we know our self care is environmentally sustainable. This is why Clean Water has a history of working  with Aveda, who has chosen Clean Water yet again as their local Earth Month partner! In 2013, Clean Water’s partnership with Aveda on Earth Day nearly set a world record for the largest number of haircuts for charity in one day.

Dune pastel painting of sand, grass, and seashore by Beth Goulet

This year, we're teaming up with Birch Salon & Gallery / Aveda to offer you the opportunity to win one of these two paintings created by artists from Rhode Island, Susan Nelson and Beth Goulet. Your donation of $10 to Clean Water Fund will help us fight to protect Rhode Island's environment, and will also count as an entry for the chance to win one of the paintings below! You can increase your chances of winning by making a larger donation - every $10 will give you another entry into the raffle.

To enter, send your name, phone number, which painting you’d like a chance to win, and a check made out to Clean Water Fund to:

The deadline for submissions to win one of the two paintings is the last day of Earth Month - Saturday, April 30th.

We're always passionate about preventing air and water pollution with initiatives such as extending the responsibility of manufacturers to pay for the collection and recycling of their products. Aveda’s commitment to working with locally-owned organic farms is an essential component of addressing pollution’s effects on climate change. We’re happy that our efforts to find new, creative ways for you to encourage environmental consciousness will also end with two lucky people winning artwork of Rhode Island’s beautiful beaches! Your participation in our fundraiser will help make a difference in preserving Rhode Island's environment for years to come.

You can also donate to support our work in Rhode Island online here. Thank you for your support and thank you to Birch Salon & Gallery!
