National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week In PA - Allegheny County
Every October, Clean Water Action works with allied environmental organizations here in Pittsburgh to put on a series of events in recognition of National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week. As you may know, lead exposure continues to harm families in Pittsburgh, especially in Black communities, where aging housing, schools, and water systems carry the highest risk. This year is no different! This year's lead safe awareness week kicks off tomorrow and goes on until October 25th.
