Connecticut's Home Energy Action Campaign Update
On Tuesday, June 14, Clean Water Action attended an event at Waterbury City Hall to promote the Waterbury Home Energy Campaign. We were accompanied by Kevin Taylor, Executive Director of Neighborhood Housing Services of Waterbury. Stationed at a table in front of City Hall, we shared information about this cost-saving, energy-reducing program to Waterbury residents passing by. This energy efficiency program allows residents to save money on their home energy bills and utility costs by weatherizing their homes. Waterbury Home Energy Action Campaign Launches!
Our Home Energy Action Campaign is official! We’re excited to work with partners and local leaders in Waterbury to help residents learn about and participate in the Home Energy Solutions program administered by Eversource. This program provides a very low or no cost evaluation of areas in the home that can be more energy efficient, reduce energy use, save residents money, make homes more comfortable and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
