Madelyn Vital joined Clean Water's ReThink Disposable program in January 2024. Prior to joining the team, she was an environmental & waste prevention specialist for Don’t Waste Durham in North Carolina. She is excited to collaborate to make environmentally responsible and healthy options and policies more equitable and accessible. Madelyn has over eight years of experience working in and with nonprofits, government, academia, businesses, and local communities. Travis Wall
Travis Wall currently works as a Senior Specialist for the ReThink Disposable program based in Oakland California. His primary role involves visiting restaurants around the San Francisco Bay Area, working with them to switch to more sustainable practices that prevents plastic and other trash at the source, preventing pollution and saving business owners money at the same time. In March 2024, Travis Celebrated 10 years with Clean Water Action.

Originally from the East Coast, Mac finished an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies and Politics at the University of San Francisco. Mac's academic career focused on a balance between the sciences and the humanities. Pairing studies of ecology, GIS mapping, and environmental data analysis with community garden outreach, Environmental Justice, and decolonial lenses on human rights and stewardship. A Bay Area resident, Mac applies these lessons to help in Clean Water Action's mission in Oakland, CA.
