Jesus was born in Bakersfield, CA and has lived in Lamont most of his life. He has been involved in various civic organizations. In 2012, he began his community organizing work in partnership with the Dolores Huerta Foundation. There he was trained in strategic skill development in community organizing. Emily grew up in Maryland, where she cultivated fond memories of playing in the streams and rivers in central Maryland. She received her master of science from Cornell University studying conflict resolution and community-based natural resource management. Emily cut her advocacy teeth with Bike Maryland, working with state and local governments, businesses, and community activists throughout the state to promote a Bike Friendly Maryland. Jennifer Kunze
Jennifer is a lifelong Maryland resident who grew up next to the Catoctin Mountains in Frederick, graduated from St. Mary's College of Maryland on the beautiful St. Mary's River, and now lives in Baltimore City. Before joining Clean Water Action in 2016, Jennifer worked as the Environmental Programs Organizer at the Center for Grace-Full Living in East Baltimore, where she coordinated community gardens, taught environmental education, and organized rain garden and other stormwater remediation projects.
