Clean Water Action joins the January 23 Letter to McConnell & Senate Republicans - End the Shutdown
Environmental Community Letter to Support HR 1
Dear Member of Congress,
On behalf of our millions of members and supporters, we write to you today to endorse the For the People Act (H.R. 1). Our nation cannot function to its fullest potential without a healthy and thriving democracy and the For the People Act proposes common sense reforms that will move us closer to the goal of making sure the right to vote in our elections is protected, that all votes are counted, and that the undue influence of dark money from corporate and polluter interests in our elections is reined in.
Right now, our democracy is under duress. Big money campaign

Scorecard for the 2018 Lame Duck Michigan Legislative Session
The 2018 lame duck legislative session has moved at a record pace. More than 300 bills were introduced since the midterm elections on November 6th. Lame duck sessions are often used by corporate lobbyists and lame duck lawmakers, no longer accountable to their constituents, to push through wildly unpopular legislation in the final days of the year.
Minnesota State Legislative Scorecard - 2017 and 2018 Sessions
Clean Water Action’s goal is to protect and restore our lakes, rivers and streams now and for future generations. We work to protect Minnesota’s health and water by making systemic change. We educate the public, develop grassroots leaders and mobilize our members to get involved in policy decisions.
We also provide tools to help Minnesotans understand how their elected officials are voting. This scorecard covers the 2017 and 2018 Minnesota legislative sessions and scores every Minnesota state legislator on votes that impact clean, renewable energy, water quality, and toxics in our environment.
