National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week In PA - Allegheny County
Every October, Clean Water Action works with allied environmental organizations here in Pittsburgh to put on a series of events in recognition of National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week. As you may know, lead exposure continues to harm families in Pittsburgh, especially in Black communities, where aging housing, schools, and water systems carry the highest risk. This year is no different! This year's lead safe awareness week kicks off tomorrow and goes on until October 25th.

Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund Massachusetts are seeking a full-time hybrid Development Manager to build and strengthen our fundraising program that supports our statewide initiatives. This role will be instrumental in cultivating donor relationships, securing foundation support, and ensuring the financial sustainability of our programs. In Massachusetts, Clean Water’s work focuses on climate justice, environmental health, and equitable access to clean energy, including protecting drinking water, reducing toxic pollution, holding corporations accountable, empowering youth leadership within the environmental justice movement, and advancing pro-environment policies and leadership at every level of government.
