Deadline Looms Tomorrow For NJ’s Long-Delayed Environmental Justice Rule
Clean Water Action said today the Murphy Administration must finish delivering on previous environmental justice and climate commitments even as it initiates important new proceedings to combat the climate emergency. The first deadline is noon on February 24th for the long-delayed environmental justice rule to go into effect before April.

Train derailments are not uncommon in Maryland, and many of our rail lines parallel rivers or run through communities. HB 492 will help create safer working conditions for rail workers, improve the safety of communities living near rail lines, and protect the environment by limiting the likelihood of a derailment and subsequent explosion or spill.
