Michigan Legislative Priorities 2020-2021
Michigan is the Great Lakes State, and we have a unique resource in our water resources as well as a responsibility to protect our water for current and future Michiganders. Clean Water Action has over 135,000 active members in Michigan who value our Great Lakes and protection of the water resources on which we all rely. Our current Michigan Legislative Priorities and Policy Recommendations include: Polluter Pay and Corporate Accountability for our Environment Water Infrastructure and Contamination Investments Addressing Environmental Racism and Injustice Strengthening Public Trust Protections

Environmental Justice Program Coordinator | Hybrid in Philadelphia, PA
Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund are seeking a full-time Environmental Justice Program Coordinator in Philadelphia and southeast Pennsylvania to support programs addressing environmental inequities and improving health in underserved communities. The coordinator will organize workshops, youth engagement, environmental education, and local projects on food access, green space, pollution, and climate resilience, while managing logistics, tracking outcomes, and coordinating partnerships. This role also contributes to broader campaigns advancing environmental justice and clean water and air. Candidates should be passionate about community health and environmental justice, with experience in communities of color and lower-income areas.
