Clean Water Action Minnesota was in DC to talk about and support the GLRI Act of 2019 and advocated for significantly increasing federal funding for clean water and safe drinking water programs. The GLRI Act would provide stability for Great Lakes funding for at least five years, provide secure and stable funding, and will encourage more state and local governments, as well as private businesses, to invest in protection and restoration across the Great Lakes basin.

Our priority is the health and well-being of members like you, our volunteers, the communities we serve, and our staff. We believe we have a responsibility to help “flatten the curve” of COVID-19 to protect our neighbors. Elijah Romulus is the newest member of the Clean Water Action Advisory Board and is an avid advocate for renewable energy and social justice. Elijah has a Master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University’s UEP program and currently works as the Assistant Town Planner in Bridgewater, MA.
