Why I Canvass
I am 22 and I have my dream job. In college I majored in environmental studies and focused on environmental justice. And unless I could get paid for activism and volunteer work, I really didn’t see myself getting paid for something I loved doing. In late July, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) convened the National Drinking Water Advisory Council to brief them on plans to delay and weaken the first-ever Safe Drinking Water Act limits on some PFAS chemicals. We spoke during the public comment period and provided these written comments.
