HB566: Zero Waste infrastructure in schools!
Today, the House Appropriations Committee held its hearing on HB566, legislation to bring Maryland one step further down the path to Zero Waste by ensuring that new schools are built with facilities to separate recycling and compost from the trash in place. This year, Clean Water Action is celebrating Earth Day by partnering with our friends at the Minneapolis Parks Board for a cleanup day at Bassett Creek Park.
What better way to celebrate our Earth than by joining together with neighbors and friends to clean up a park so dear to our hearts?
