Clean Water Action was honored to join over 200,000 people at the People's Climate Movement in Washington DC. Our New Jersey team joined NJ Sierra Club and Bus for Progress in hosting several buses that made the trip from New Jersey to Washington DC. Polluted and neglected for decades, the Anacostia River is undergoing a renaissance thanks to years of community advocacy.
We have been working locally in DC, and in particular on the Anacostia River, for many years. Last year, Clean Water joined the Anacostia Park and Community Collaborative (APACC), a coalition of 17 community-based and citywide nonprofit organizations. APACC
