Getting Toxic Sediment out of the Anacostia River
The Anacostia River corridor within the District of Columbia is comprised of 15 miles of shoreline, 1,200 acres of green space, and a string of 10 adjacent neighborhoods on the river’s east side in Wards 7 and 8. Polluted and neglected for decades, the Anacostia River is undergoing a renaissance thanks to years of community advocacy.
We have been working locally in DC, and in particular on the Anacostia River, for many years. Last year, Clean Water joined the Anacostia Park and Community Collaborative (APACC), a coalition of 17 community-based and citywide nonprofit organizations. APACC
Clean Wave
Clean Wave, is a federal Super PAC that intends to make independent expenditures in the 2022 elections pertaining to some federal races. State Super PACs named Clean Wave and Clean Wave MI also exist in PA and MI to make independent expenditures in the 2022 elections in selected state races in PA and MI.

Our Mind the Store campaign has made a huge impact with the world's largest retailers and succeeded in getting Walmart, Target, CVS, Home Depot and Lowe's to work with their suppliers and shift away from some of the most harmful chemicals
