On April 2 nd, Massachusetts lost a great leader and champion of justice and environmental health, Senator Ken Donnelly. Senator Donnelly was a firefighter of 37 years, former Secretary/Treasurer of the Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts and the Senator from Massachusetts’ Fourth Middlesex District since 2009. He died of brain cancer. As a Senator, he was best known for his advocacy on behalf of the mentally ill, union workers, and homeless families. Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund Massachusetts are seeking a full-time hybrid Development Manager to build and strengthen our fundraising program that supports our statewide initiatives. This role will be instrumental in cultivating donor relationships, securing foundation support, and ensuring the financial sustainability of our programs. In Massachusetts, Clean Water’s work focuses on climate justice, environmental health, and equitable access to clean energy, including protecting drinking water, reducing toxic pollution, holding corporations accountable, empowering youth leadership within the environmental justice movement, and advancing pro-environment policies and leadership at every level of government.
