Clean Water Action and Coalition for Healthy Ports Hosting Session Will Host a Panel on Environmental Justice and Coalition Building Strategies

WHAT: The Nonprofit Professionals of Color C3 Convention: Commune. Collaborate. Celebrate. serves as a significant forum where professionals from varied backgrounds convene to address pertinent issues, exchange insights, and cultivate meaningful relationships within the nonprofit sector. This annual convention aims to foster cross-community unity, facilitate collaborative efforts to drive organizational impact, and honor industry champions.

WHY ATTEND SPECIAL PANEL: “Amplifying Voices: Building Coalitions for Environmental Justice" is a dynamic panel discussion designed to equip emerging leaders with the skills and strategies needed to effectively advocate for environmental justice. This workshop will focus on the principles of coalition building, intricacies of advocacy work, and implementation of successful social justice initiatives, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and partnerships. Together, the panelists will share their expertise, insights, and real-world experiences to inspire and empower participants! Our panel will be featured on Sunday, October 13th, at 2:00 PM and comprised of three distinguished women of color with extensive experience in environmental justice and coalition-building:
