Clean Water Action statement on EPA action on the revised Lead and Copper Rule

"Today the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced it is extending the effective date of recent revisions to the Safe Drinking Water Act Lead and Copper Rule (LCR). Clean Water Action appreciates the Administration’s thorough review to ensure the new regulations are consistent with Executive Orders and other commitments. We look forward to engaging in the review process around critical issues, including provisions related to lead service lines, the largest source of lead in drinking water."
