Madelyn Vital

Madelyn Vital joined Clean Water's ReThink Disposable program in January 2024. Prior to joining the team, she was an environmental & waste prevention specialist for Don’t Waste Durham in North Carolina. She is excited to collaborate to make environmentally responsible and healthy options and policies more equitable and accessible. Madelyn has over eight years of experience working in and with nonprofits, government, academia, businesses, and local communities. She is passionate about and interested in waste prevention, reuse, the circular economy, environmental justice, pollution and waste reduction policies, environmental health, food security, and sustainable food system solutions.
