ReThink Disposable Business Engagement Coordinator
Prior working with Clean Water Action, Dean worked with the San Francisco Department of the Environment for 5 ½ years as an outreach education associate. During his tenure, Dean spoke with hundreds of businesses and residents throughout San Francisco about the City Ordinances that include new changes in recycling and composting, Styrofoam and plastic bag bans, energy, and toxic products. Dean has also translated official documents into Chinese and Vietnamese as I speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese.
As Business Engagement Coordinator for ReThink Disposable, Dean has successfully converted businesses from single-use foodware items for dine-in to reusable items. He has also worked on outreach to businesses in different cities and counties about the new changes in Foodware Ordinances and provided technical support.
Dean lives in San Francisco with his spouse and two boys.
