EmpowerNJ is a coalition of environmental, citizen, faith, and progressive groups in New Jersey launching a grassroots campaign calling on Governor Murphy to act quickly on climate change by stopping pending fossil fuel projects and their greenhouse gas emissions.

EmpowerNJ's mission includes enacting a moratorium on all new or expansion fossil fuel projects to protect health and climate, immediate implementation of policies to achieve a 45% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in NJ by 2030, environmental justice, and a rapid and equitable transition to 100% clean renewable energy sources by 2035 to move NJ off fossil fuels while creating green jobs.
