The election is drawing near. We must join together in returning and electing pro-environment state legislators to the Texas capital. It feels like every election season, we are told that this is the most important election yet, but this year, that sentiment could not be truer.
With In-person Early Voting under way (October 21st-November 1st), it is crucial that we know who our Clean Water Action champions are on the ballot, cast our votes for the environment as well as share this voter information with friends and family. It is with great appreciation of our environmental champions’ hard work and accomplishments to date that Clean Water Action has endorsed the following candidates in this election season:
President and Vice President
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz
Vice President Harris and Governor Tim Walz have a demonstrated commitment to clean water. Vice President Harris is a visible leader in the Biden-Harris Administration's successful work to address environmental injustice, tackle the climate crisis, hold polluters accountable, reduce water pollution, and ensure clean drinking water for all. Governor Walz signed Amara's Law, the nation's strongest PFAS legislation to reduce use of these "forever" chemicals.
