What is a Donor-Advised Fund?

Think of a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) like a savings account for charitable giving. A DAF makes it easy for you to support the organizations you care about while combining favorable tax advantages.

It’s like a piggy bank with benefits.

A DAF can be established through a financial institution or you can establish it directly through a community foundation or sponsoring 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Regardless of where you set it up, a Donor-Advised Fund is as a 501(c)(3) public charity, which means that contributions to the DAF are tax deductible. After establishing your DAF, you can recommend how much (and how often) you want to distribute money from that to Clean Water Fund or any other organization you choose.

Please contact your financial advisor for detailed information on donor advised funds.

Already have a Donor-Advised Fund?

Clean Water Fund welcomes all donations from your Donor-Advised Fund and would be grateful for any support you can provide.
