Maryanne Roughton
Maryanne joined Clean Water Action in June of 2019 as a Field Canvasser in the Ann Arbor office. Before beginning her work in her current role as Canvass Director, she worked as a Field Manager and Senior Field Manager for the Field Canvass office in Ann Arbor. She received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College in May of 2021, where her studies concentrated on feminist and environmental economics.

Erik McCleary
Erik began working on environmental organizing with Clean Water Action in 2019 as a canvasser in our Ann Arbor office, soon after becoming a Field Manager and MIchigan Deputy Field Director in 2020.
Prior to his arrival in Michigan Erik studied at Hampton University in Virginia, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, and worked on several electoral campaigns in Virginia, Oakland, Florida, and MIssouri.
Jennifer Schlicht
Jennifer began her work with Clean Water Action as a canvasser in our Ann Arbor, Michigan office. After working as a field and office manager, she began working on our National Communications team.
Jennifer also volunteers in the local community for voting access and rights, as a legal observer, an English conversation tutor and welcoming volunteer for refugee families, and with environmental conservation and education projects as a Michigan Conservation Steward and Master Rain Gardener. Curt Moultine
Curt began his canvassing career with the Michigan Citizen’s Lobby in August of 1989. He became Canvass Director for Georgia Citizen Action in March of 1991 and continued in the same role for Clean Water Action in Lansing, Michigan from 1993 until 2001.
Among his accomplishments as a Canvass Director, Curt promoted over a dozen staff members who went on to become Canvass Directors and Program Directors. In his current role with the Hudson Bay Company, Curt works with the Michigan Clean Water Action field canvasses.

Emily Woodcock
Emily began at Clean Water Action in September 2004 in Ann Arbor where she filled several roles such as Senior Field Manager, before her current position as Canvass Director. She also canvasses two days a week, and immensely values her time spent training staff and organizing in the community. Emily grew up near Philadelphia, raised by parents who taught her early on the importance of working to better the community in which she lived.
