Steve Hvozdovich
Steve is a life long resident of Pittsburgh. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in History and a secondary concentration in Political Science. Steve joined Clean Water Action in 2008 and initially focused on our community organizing efforts in the Pittsburgh suburbs around air quality issues. In 2010, Steve shifted his focus to the Marcellus Shale natural gas drilling issue. Myron Arnowitt
Myron has served as Clean Water Action's PA State Director since 2007 and has worked as a community organizer for over 25 years for a variety of neighborhood, environmental, and social justice organizations in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Chester, PA. Myron’s accomplishments with Clean Water Action include passage of new air pollution compliance and air toxics rules, and getting strong state standards for oil and gas wastewater treatment. Mare has been with Clean Water Action for 20 years. He has personally raised over $3 Million in member contributions since he started working for the organization. Under his direction, the Oakland Phone Canvass improved its gross by 100%, hitting its first million-dollar year in 2008 and raising between $1.2 and $1.3 Million annually since then. He is currently working as the Western Regional Canvass Supervisor since 2013, which involves supervising our field and phone programs in California, Colorado, Texas, Rhode Island, and Minnesota.
