Action Collaborative program at Malden High School for a ten-week period during the fall/winter of 2024. This position will cover the leave of the current program leader, ensuring the continuity of our work, which includes providing hands-on environmental education and advocacy skill-building. Clean Water’s Youth Action Collaborative (YAC) group at Malden High School was launched in January 2024. YAC offers high schoolers an excellent environmental education anchored in environmental issues directly impacting their lives while teaching concrete skills—like public speaking, persuasive writing, environmental research, and public health analysis—to further their educational and professional opportunities.

Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund are two national organizations that work towards environmental protection, justice, and public health. Clean Water Action, a grassroots environmental organization, advocates for strong environmental laws, addresses local environmental issues and safeguards public health. Clean Water Fund, a research and education organization, promotes justice and public interest related to water, waste, clean energy, and toxins. Both organizations aim to ensure that communities most affected by environmental degradation have a voice and access to resources for clean energy and justice.
