Clean Water Action is a non-profit environmental organization that has been fighting to protect clean water, clean air, and open space in the U.S. since the passage of the Clean Water Act in 1972. We’ve had a strong presence on the Jersey Shore since 1982, winning important victories that have had a huge impact on our quality of life such as the School Integrated Pest Management (IPM) law to protect children from toxic pesticides, the NJ Clean Cars Act to reduce air pollution, the NJ Highlands and Pinelands Protection Act, Banning Ocean Dumping, Category 1 (highest level) protection for our drinking water sources, the strongest-in-nation fertilizer law to protect Barnegat Bay, and much more. We hope you can attend the #Act4CleanWater conference to get more involved in these campaigns and help us win more victories for New Jersey and the nation.
