Plastic Waste – Our Responsibility

We can all make a difference. It doesn’t have to take much effort – just a change of habit. Producers of plastic and packaging must also be held accountable for their actions and required to stop the cycle of plastics and pollution. Together, we can make even more of a difference.

In recent years, bills have been introduced to address polystyrene, plastic flatware, single-use water bottles and other plastic packaging. But, none have succeeded. The most efficient way to comprehensively solve the problem of single-use plastics, then, is with a statewide EPR bill.
