Qiyam Ansari

Since joining Clean Water Action in 2019, Qiyam’s work has included grant writing, community organizing, and community education with many partners in the Mon Valley suburbs of Pittsburg. He oversees the articulation and implementation of Pennsylvania’s Environmental Rights Amendment to the Pennsylvania Constitution that says "The people have a right to clean air" and is working to hold industrial polluters accountable for their toxic emissions and violations and reduce potent greenhouse gases like methane, exacerbating climate change.
