What's Your Connection to Clean Water?
I started working at Clean Water at the end of March of 2020.
What's Your Favorite Clean Water Action Memory or Story?
I started working at Clean Water right as the Pandemic started. So it was a very interesting way to get to know my co-workers and learning about everything this organization does around the nation. That being said, some of my favorite memories have been the all staff Zoom calls. This gave me the opportunity to see and hear from the various office about the campaigns and projects going on in different locations and nationally.
Why Do You Care About Clean Water?
I grew up on the Westside of Michigan spending a lot of time going to the beaches along lake Michigan. From a young age I understood the need to keep our water clean and to protect our environment.
What's Exciting for Clean Water Now & for the Future?
I am excited to see the new ways we are able to help protect the environment both locally and nationally through our campaigns. Many of the campaigns that I have see so far are innovative and provide communities with information regarding issues that they may not have even realized was an issue. For the future I hope that we are able to continue providing this necessary information both locally and nationally to educate our communities and keep our natural resources protected.
