LANSING- Today, Clean Water Action announced its endorsement of Dan Kildee for Michigan’s 5th Congressional District.

“From tackling PFAS contamination, fighting for clean water in Flint and ensuring critical funding for our Great Lakes, Dan Kildee has truly been a clean water champion in Congress," said Mary Brady-Enerson, Clean Water Action Michigan Director. "We know that Representative Kildee will continue standing up for Michiganders and protecting our most valuable natural resource in his next term.”

Dan Kildee has been a leader on environmental issues throughout his career as an elected official. He has been a major advocate of fully funding the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, as well as fighting for families in his district and across the country facing water contamination due to lead service lines. In his current term Representative Kildee has been tirelessly working to ensure that the US Air Force address the widespread PFAS contamination in Oscoda and elsewhere across the country.

“We know that Congressman Kildee values our Great Lakes and will continue to fight for justice for those who do not have clean drinking water,” said Brady-Enerson. “We are proud to endorse his campaign. The choice is clear – Dan Kildee for Michigan’s 5th congressional district.”
