In this exciting temporary role, you'll have the opportunity to help elect Clean Water Action-endorsed candidates at both the state and federal levels. We provide transportation to and from the communities where we organize, and each shift begins and ends at our Pittsburgh office.

Since our founding during the campaign to pass the landmark Clean Water Act in 1972, Clean Water Action has worked to win strong public health and environmental protections by bringing issue expertise, solution-oriented thinking and people power to the table. Our wide range of campaign priorities include water and air protections, environmental justice, sustainability, holding politicians and corporations accountable, and making democracy work. Recent victories include our successful campaign to block Trump Era rollbacks to the Clean Water Act, strong federal and state-level PFAS maximum contamination limits, and bans on single-use plastics across states and municipalities.

In the 2024 election, Pennsylvania will not only have a major influence on the Presidential race, but control of our State House of Representatives hangs in the balance. Clean Water Action is committed to making sure our elected officials will protect the environment, public health, and democracy.
